Resumo: The small‐angle X‐ray scattering technique was used to study the evolution of the structure of hydrated tricalcium silicate at room temperature. The changes in specific area of the associated porosity and the evolution of density fluctuations in the solid hydrated phase were deduced from the scattering data. A correlation of these variations with the hydration mechanism was tried. Copyright © 1984, Wiley Blackwell. All rights reserved
