Resumo: Over the years there was a diffusion of nonlinear loads in power system, and the power factor, which previously suffered only influence by the displacement factor, now is decreased by the THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) of the system. Harmonic components have significant impact on the power electrical quality of the system as a whole, resulting among other problems, such as the addition of losses in the electric system, difficulties in the measurement and reduction of the useful life of capacitors. In order to reduce these impacts in the system, there are several applicable solutions, one among them, the use of 12-pulse converter. This paper aims to analyze the experimental pulse converter 12 which makes use of a transformer with intermediary yoke. A modeling of the flux in the core was made to know how its behavior in the intermediary yoke. It will be analyzed the impacts of interphase transformer removal. Comparison will be made on an experimental operation of both cases (with and without IPT) verifying the advantages of operating at each of these conditions. The experimental results are compared with standard IEC 61000-3-2

The experimental results are compared with standard IEC 61000-3-2Com o passar dos anos houve a difusão de cargas não lineares no sistema elétrico, e o fator de potência, que antes sofria influência apenas do fator de deslocamento, passa também a ser influenciado pela DHT (Distorção Harmônica Total) do sistema. As componentes harmônicas têm significativo impacto na qualidade de energia do sistema elétrico como um todo, resultando dentre outros problemas, ao acréscimo das perdas no sistema elétrico, dificuldades na medição e diminuição da vida útil de capacitores. Com intuito de mitigar esses impactos no sistema, diversas são as soluções aplicáveis, sendo uma dentre elas, o emprego do conversor de 12 pulsos. Este trabalho tem como objetivo a análise experimental do conversor 12 pulsos que faz uso de um transformador com culatra intermediária. Deseja averiguar como se porta o transformador que emprega a culatra intermediária, e é desenvolvido o equacionamento para mensurar a magnitude e fase do fluxo que atravessa a mesma. Neste trabalho serão analisados os impactos provenientes da retirada do transformador de interfase do circuito. Será feita a comparação experimental dos casos de operação (com e sem IPT) verificando quais as vantagens de se operar em cada uma destas condições.
