Resumo: This work analyzed the receptiveness of kindergarten children to yoga classes, we sought to identify feelings and opinions, as well as body perceptions awakened by experiences. Yoga is characterized as a form of integral education for children, using the corporeal-sensorial experience lived by the children. It also contributes to the development of the child, thus developing strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, body awareness, concentration and self confidence. The qualitative research was carried out in a kindergarten municipality of Bauru, in the interior of São Paulo. 27 children of both genders participated. comprising the age group between two and five years and the teacher responsible for class.

A ioga se caracteriza como uma forma de educação integral para crianças, utilizando-se da experiência corpóreo-sensorial vivenciada pelas crianças. Também contribui para o desenvolvimento da criança, desenvolvendo assim força, flexibilidade, coordenação, equilíbrio, consciência corporal, concentração e autoconfiança. A pesquisa de caráter qualitativa, foi realizada em uma escola infantil municipal de Bauru, interior de São Paulo.
