Análise do posicionamento imediato de implantes dentários após elevação do assoalho do seio maxilar de coelho com Gingistat: análise tomográfica, histomorfométrica e imunoistoquímica

Resumo: Gingistat ® is a equine collagen of type I in the form of compresses that has hemostatic activity due to its adhesion, absorption of liquids and gelation property, assisting in blood clot formation . The purpose of this study is to evaluate the ossification process of bone substitute Gingistat ® as well as the placement of titanium implants inserted in the same surgical procedure guided bone regeneration lifting the maxillary sinus floor through tomographic, histomorphometric and immunohistochemistry analyzes. Will be used for such twelve (12) New Zealand rabbits, Albinus variation, adult, male, five (5) months approximately and weighing between 3-4 kg undergoing surgery elevation of the membrane maxillary sinus bilateral by nasal approach . The maxillary sinus on the right side will be filled by Gingistat ® and the left side by a blood clot, then bilateral immediate installation of titanium dental implant of 3.6 x 6.5 mm. The animals will be euthanized after of 7 and 40 days and jaw removed for processing and tomographic,histomorphometric and immunohistochemical analyzes . Statistical analysis will be conducted through the comparison between control and treated group . The statistical test was conducted by comparing intra-group and between groups GGI and GCI, employing the Kruskal-Wallis and as a post-test to the values that were statistically significant, Dunn was employed the method

A proposta deste estudo é avaliar o processo de ossificação do substituto ósseo Gingistat®, bem como o posicionamento de implantes de titânio inseridos em mesmo tempo cirúrgico que o processo de regeneração óssea guiada de levantamento do assoalho do seio maxilar, por meio de análises tomográfica, histomorfométrica e imunoistoquímica. Para tal foram utilizados 12(doze) coelhos da raça Nova Zelândia, variação albinus, machos, adultos, com idade aproximada de 5(cinco) meses e peso corporal entre 3 a 4 kg que foram submetidos à cirurgia de elevação da membrana do seio maxilar bilateral por acesso nasal. O seio maxilar do lado esquerdo foi preenchido por Gingistat® e do lado direito por coágulo sanguíneo, seguida da instalação bilateral imediata de implante dentário de titânio de 3,6 x 6,5 mm. Após períodos de 7 e 40 dias os animais sofreram eutanásia e a maxila foi removida para processamento e análises tomográfica, histomorfométrica e imunoistoquímica.
