Resumo: | Introduction and objective: The high intensity included in football, demands high demands of the physical and motor components of the individual who practices it. In order to identify indicators of aerobic fitness, such as the lactate threshold, anaerobic threshold, minimum lactate and the maximum stable phase of lactate, the response rates of blood lactate concentration over the year were evaluated. The study aimed to analyze the blood lactate concentration and the subjective perception of effort of football amateur athletes. Materials and methods: Young athletes from 19 to 27 years of age were practicing amateur football. The sample consisted of 7 athletes who, on average, had 13 years of sports practice. Blood samples for lactate concentration determination were performed at different stages of the game and the scales of PSE 6-20 and PSE 0-10. Results: An interesting finding of this study was the strong correlation of 0.78 (p=0.03) found between the average of the Borg table 6-20 applied at the immediate end of the first and second stages, with the Borg 0-10 applied 15 minutes after the end of the match. Discussion: Although the result on lactate concentration was not significant, there was a decrease in this parameter, from the end of the first to the end of the second stage. Conclusion: Given the results found, the study states that both PSE 0-10 and PSE 6-20 can be used as an exercise intensity analysis tool for amateur football practitioners. |
