Resumo: In this work, it is evaluated the efficiency and applicability of tools from the Lean Manufacturing system in non serial industries (Engineer to Order) with long leadtime, describing the current scenario of a medium and high voltage transformers factory, exposing, not only the points where Lean Manufacturing can act and improve factory's performance, as the tools and philosophy which Lean production's system uses. Its objective is to find possible benefits, debating and locating the advantages and disadvantages, that Lean's way of thinking will bring to an industry which has its limitations to pulled system and leadtime's reduction
