Resumo: | Understanding the application of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) in the speaker area seeks to assist in the development of new products and find more efficient solutions, thereby increasing knowledge in the field from raw material extraction to manufacturing. Thus, the study was limited to a comparative LCA between materials of different speaker models, and, with help of the database present in GaBi and OpenLCA software in order to recreate the extraction and manufacturing scenario. These scenarios were approached separately in order to increasingly understand from the material to the technical part segmenting the speaker lifecycle system into components. Finally, we verified the available and applicable methodologies for the coil production line, seen as the main focus of the study. The manufacturing processes and the analysis of the results show that the input data required for the environmental assessment is directly proportional to the degree of assertiveness, and, emphasizing that the materials present in the production come from basic elements to rare elements found in the earth making the full understanding of the production line for effective data collection to be used for Life Cycle Inventory Analysis (LCI). |
