Resumo: | This project aims to develop a user interface for the determination of mixed control chart Trinomial ATTRIVAR (T-ATTRIVAR) limits by the user production process. The TATTRIVAR model (SIMÕES et al, 2019) appears as an alternative for process monitoring, being a hybrid control chart split into two phases, the attribute inspection and the variable inspection. This model contributes to decreasing inspection costs in comparison with the variable control chart, besides that presents a good performance. In the first phase, the samples are inspected by attribute and, if the reproved number items are bigger than a specified quantity, all items must be inspected by variable. Some academic papers about the efficiency of different ATTRIVAR models showed that the Trinomial ATTRIVAR presents the best performance concerning the Average Run Length (ARL) due to the sensibility to identify the direction of mean shift. About the inspection costs, the T-ATTRIVAR tends to be more economic than the others ATTRIVAR models, because it presents some decision criteria that diminishes the frequency of variable inspections, once the measurements are usually more expensive than attribute inspection. The user interface is being developed in R language, the main programming language for statistical computing, and having the RStudio as the development environment. It is expected that the interface defines the limits and the sample size of any production process in normal distribution and facilitates the application of this control chart model in real processes, moreover, contributes with others research about mixed control chart. |
