Resumo: | The biological effects of the signals produced by X-ray and ultrasound equipment strongly depend on their intensity. Some articles were published addressing the use of pyroelectric sensors to measure the intensity of X-rays and ultrasonic transducer output power. The objective of this work was to carry out a literature review addressing the use of pyroelectric sensors to measure the intensity of X-rays and the acoustic power generated by ultrasound transducers. For the development of the review, a methodology with the guidelines of the Preferred Items for Systematic Review Reports and Meta-analysis (PRISMA) was used. After the searches, 11 papers were selected for analysis, 8 referring to X-ray and 3 to ultrasound. In most research, the response of the pyroelectric sensor was linear with the intensity of the radiation. |
