Resumo: The appointment of Professor Lina Khan as chairman of the Federal Trade Commission and the recent FTC Memorandum have sparked intense debate over traditional antitrust review mechanisms. The proposal of a change agenda linked to the Hipster Antitrust movement as a response to the challenges of digital markets is seen by some as a departure from economic theory and an overcoming of the economic concepts developed by the Chicago School. This article analyzes the transversal agenda presented to answer, at the end, if there is a flight from economic theory, or if we are facing an adaptation to the current institutional context and the challenges of digital markets.
