Resumo: Therapeutic Accompaniment (TA) has received increasing attention in the field of mental health. This study presents a scientific literature review of Brazilian scientific articles on TA, based on dissertations and theses concluded in stricto sensu graduate programs in Brazil between 2000 and 2011. The references were obtained from the Dissertation and Thesis Database of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes), carefully selected and, finally, assessed in view of different dimensions. In general, the results reveal repetitions in the corpus in terms of the methodo logical strategies, theoretical frameworks and methodological designs. In that sense, this study discloses gaps in the scientific literature and contributes to the definition of a research agenda on the theme.

La finalidad de este estudio fue presentar una revisión de la literatura de la producción científica nacional sobre AT, tomando como referencia las tesis y disertaciones concluidas en nivel de postgrado stricto sensu en Brasil entre 2000 y 2011. Las referencias fueron obtenidas del Banco de Tesis y Disertaciones de la Coordinación de Perfeccionamiento de Personal de Nivel Superior (Capes), seleccionadas con sumo criterio y finalmente evaluadas en un conjunto de dimensiones. En general, los resultados alcanzados indican repeticiones en el corpus en términos de las estrategias metodológicas, referenciales teóricos y diseños metodológicos. En ese sentido, este estudio evidencia lagunas en la literatura y contribuye a la definición de una agenda de investigación sobre el asunto.O Acompanhamento Terapêutico (AT) é um procedimento que tem recebido atenção crescente no cenário da saúde mental. Este estudo teve como objetivo apresentar uma revisão da produção científica nacional sobre AT, tomando como referência as teses e dissertações concluídas em nível de pós-graduação stricto sensu no Brasil, entre 2000 e 2011. As referências foram localizadas no Banco de Teses e Dissertações da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes), selecionadas criteriosamente e, por fim, avaliadas em um conjunto de dimensões. Em linhas gerais, os resultados obtidos apontam repetições no corpus em termos das estratégias metodológicas, referenciais teóricos e delineamentos metodológicos.
