Resumo: This study is meant to promote environmental education, using diversified educative practices with the intention to propiciate favorable learning moments to the fundamental II students of a state owned school in Sao Paulo. The performed practices followed a sequence of information and messages which made possible an interaction among the students involved in the process, with a positive participation, that collaborated with ideas, information and propositions. To provoke uneasiness of mind was part of the method used, for it stimulated them to think as to how to act, in order to amplify the sensibility and the perception as to the necessity of a new look at the possibilities of comprehension of the world. The diversity of guidelines benefited the whole work. The tapes and books were of fundamental support during the process. The manifold events contributed to fortify the affectivity among the involved and made stand out the seriousness of the collective work and the importance of each component. The focus of this research was to verify the treatment of the home dry waste recyclable, with interventions to widen the knowledge throughout life. The social responsibility must be stimulated since the earliest school years in the order to promote affective and respectful interactions that priorize the total development. For the analysis of the research this study utilized the Bardin (2004) method, which classifies categories and subcategories using polling units and context, with ampliate the interpretation, giving conditions to widen the possibilities of interventions. Education must always collaborate for a socializing, development, that favors culture and the humanization of society. The Environmental Education Project: Multiplying Knowledge to Change Values and Attitudes, offered some possibilities for the promotion of consciousness and respect for nature.

As práticas realizadas seguiram uma seqüência de informações e mensagens que possibilitaram uma interação entre os envolvidos no processo, com participação positiva, que colaborou com idéias, informações e propostas. Provocar inquietação fez parte do caminho metodológico, pois provocou a reflexão sobre o agir, no sentido de ampliar a sensibilidade e a percepção sobre as possibilidades de novas compreensões do mundo. A diversidade de norteadores beneficiou o trabalho conjunto. Os vídeos e os livros foram de fundamental apoio durante o processo. Os eventos multiplicadores contribuíram para fortalecer a afetividade entre os envolvidos e destacar a seriedade do trabalho coletivo e da importância de cada componente. O foco desta investigação foi de verificar o tratamento do lixo domiciliar seco reciclável, com intervenções para ampliar o conhecimento que mobiliza para a transformação de valores e atitudes, promovendo contextualizações que edificam o conhecimento ao longo da vida. A responsabilidade social deve ser incentivada desde os primeiros anos escolares, para promover interações afetivas e respeitosas que priorizem o desenvolvimento holístico. Para a análise das investigações o estudo utilizou o método de Bardin (2004), que classifica categorias e subcategorias, utilizando unidades de registro e de contexto, que ampliam a interpretação, dando condições de ampliar as possibilidades de intervenções. A educação deve sempre colaborar para o desenvolvimento socializador, que favoreça a cultura e a humanização da sociedade.
