From the very point of a development related to the architect and urbanist formation in Brazil, taking as orientation the current aim of necessary parameters in favor of a generalistic formation, mainly in scenery perspective, one of the three disciplinary areas of this formation, added to architecture and urbanism, stands out Burle Marx' role in this country besides a distinguished performance of the master in the whole world. Considering the specific analysis of his residencial gardens in Fortaleza, it is proposed the present study and the identification of the principles used by this scenery expert. He intended an approach and built strategies put together in a system, in order to create a fundamental base for sceneries projects. Because of an existing lack in studies of Burle Marx' works, particularly in the point of view of his residencial urban gardens, there isn't any remarkable collection of his projects in Fortaleza, concerning on these gardens, up today, in spite of their social and cultural importance for the History of the city. These gardens constitute a relevant source of research for the scenery art and urbanism, in Fortaleza, where, through Burle Marx' talent was opened the creation of modern gardens treatment, when was set up a way for the urbanistic development of the city. This way, we expect that this study contributes for the concept of new projects, which keep a reference with a determined context time style.
