O conteúdo desta peça busca retratar as profissionais doulas, mulheres que acompanham gestantes no pré-parto, parto e pós-parto. Sua assistência pode ser física, emocional ou informacional, e é estritamente ligada ao companheirismo e empoderamento feminino. O documentário também diz respeito à caracterização e especificidade de seu acompanhamento ancestral e ao mesmo tempo atual. O propósito da realização do produto é apresentar, mesmo que parcialmente, a essência da doulagem. Inicialmente foram consultados materiais para orientação de como realizar este tipo de peça, principalmente Bill Nichols. Também foram utilizados artigos de diversos autores para tomar conhecimento da doulagem. Para a parte prática foram feitos contatos com doulas através de redes sociais, como Facebook e Whatsapp a fim de obter maior profundidade no tema e realizar entrevistas. A pesquisa e as entrevistas resultaram em uma abertura para o universo das doulas, uma possibilidade de conhecer as pessoas e perceber como a individualidade de cada uma afeta e constrói o trabalho. Há uma atmosfera muito íntima nesse tipo de acompanhamento, o que dificultou a observação das mulheres atendidas e suas atividades. Porém, existem muitas doulas dispostas à divulgação da informação, resultando em um documentário baseado majoritariamente em objetivos, relatos, e percepções das entrevistadas.The present work is a documentary report (doulas and the female protagonism in the motherhood),which aimed to address the doulagem.The content of this piece seeks to portray the professional doulas., women who accompany pregnant women in pre- delivery, childbirth and postpartum. Their assistance can be physical, emotional or informational, and is strictly tied to female companionship and empowerment. The documentary also concerns the characterization and specificity of its ancestral and at the same time current accompaniment. The purpose of the product realization is to present, even partially, the essence of doulagem. Initially materials were consulted for guidance on how to make this type of piece, especially Bill Nichols. Articles by several authors were also used to learn about doulagem. For the practical part contacts were made with doulas through social networks such as Facebook and Whatsapp in order to get more depth on the topic and conduct interviews. The research and interviews resulted in an opening to the world of doulas, a chance to get to know people and to understand how their individuality affects and builds work. There is a very intimate atmosphere in this type of follow-up which made it difficult to observe the women attended and their activities.
