Resumo: Subject: The intensification of the use of innovative digital technologies by society offers large opportunities for business development in order to reduce dependence on products, components, parts and pieces manufactured abroad and to have local alternatives aligned with the worldwide reference centers. An evaluation is presented that justifies forms of cooperation for the development of innovative products / processes, aiming to encourage the promotion of investments in research, development and technological innovation. Adherence: This document studies ABINEE, as a representative entity of the Brazilian electrical and electronic complex, and IPD Eletron, as a sectorial technological entity to promote technological development and innovation related to RD&I policies. The performance of these entities, fully adhering to the theme of this work and the lines of the professional master's degree, has been shown as fundamental in the development of policies to foster innovation. Application and replication: This paper analyzes the Embrapii model as a vector for articulating actions to encourage collaborative projects between its associated companies and research institutions. Other cooperation agreements with social organizations and innovation agencies may be replicated for strategic sectors of interest to the electrical and electronics industry. Impact: The proposed solution for creating value through the new collaborative economy business models results in the application of the results of partnerships, that is, technological innovation, enabling the creation of competitiveness and generation of new jobs, given its potential to generate positive externalities for the entire economy, in promoting competitiveness, productivity and international insertion of products resulting from our technology and innovation. Innovation: Innovation is much more linked to its potential to generate results in the market. The use of international technical standards for management of innovation provides a systemic approach on the complexity of the solution and the continuity of technological development, in an evident evolution of the concept of innovation as a generator of results for the company. Complexity: The research, development and technological innovation produced by the Brazilian electrical and electronics sector assumes fundamental importance in business models based on the digital economy, in addition to the evolution of traditional models. The totally new development of business models based on the applications, incremental or disruptive, of the technology developed by industries and institutions in the innovation ecosystem is a process of great complexity for companies of all sizes. Method and methodological procedures: The methodology of problem solving and exploration of opportunities, proposed by Marcondes, Miguel, Franklin and Perez (2017), proved to be fundamental in identifying the opportunity, in the justification of fostering the establishment of technological partnerships aiming at the realization of collaborative projects and in the solution’s addressing possible obstacles.
