Resumo: In horticultural production, the appropriate irrigation management contributes significantly to the crops expressing their productive potential. However, a number of methods for estimating irrigation depths have been developed, which provide different soil, plant and atmosphere conditions, therefore, different depths result at variations in the yield. The estimation of water depth can be calculated based on climate, soil or crop, nonetheless, regardless of the method adopted, it is essential that it provides an efficient water use, satisfactory productivity, and preferably, easy handling and economical viability. Thus, the present research compared the water and productive results of capsicum crop in greehouse, exposed to different methods to determine the irrigation depth and applied at different frequencies. The experiment was carried out between October 31, 2017 and February 2, 2018, in Recife-PE (8 ° 01 "07"S and 34 ° 56 "53"W, and 6.50 m above sea level), at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE). The treatments included estimating irrigation depth based on soil (moisture sensor EC-5 and tensiometer) and based on climate (weighing lysimeter, Hargreaves-Samani equation and Piché evaporimeter), applied at once or twice, by drip irrigation. The estimating methods via soil provided to capsicum crop the superior water consumption in relation to the methods via climate. As well, the water use efficiency, the highest values were obtained with the lysimetry and moisture sensor methods. Biometric variables of fruits and yield were significantly influenced by different irrigation depths, since with methods via soil, again, reached higher results of these parameters. The results show that the stem diameter and leaf area index were influenced by the different irrigation controls, while the crop height did not present significant results. The fractionation of the application of the irrigation provided an increase in the productivity and the water use efficiency in relation to application at once.

The fractionation of the application of the irrigation provided an increase in the productivity and the water use efficiency in relation to application at once. Submitted by Mario BC (mario@bc.ufrpe.br) on 2018-12-13T12:30:12Z No. of bitstreams: 1 Leandro Candido Gordin.pdf: 1665075 bytes, checksum: 3f53a916e148a36cd12a646c3ffaf1f1 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2018-12-13T12:30:12Z (GMT). The fractionation of the application of the irrigation provided an increase in the productivity and the water use efficiency in relation to application at once.
