Resumo: | When one light goes off and another light: the boy Geydson and an assisted liberty in the backlands of Pernambuco, tells the life story of a teenager who lived through the socio-educational system between 12 and 17 years old. The objective of this research is to investigate the impacts of the measure on its trajectory and the possibilities of pedagogical action in the socio-educational process, for the reconstruction of its life project during and beyond the fulfillment of the measure. The theoretical methodological approaches help us to think and discuss the socio-educational system in an open environment, its effectiveness, efficiency and effectiveness. assisted freedom, which assumes to accompany, guide and assist the adolescent who is in conflict with the law and must guarantee in its development the autonomy and the protagonism of the socioeducate, providing him with an authentic experience of reconstructing his life project. At the legislative level, the Statute of the Child and Adolescent - ECA and the National System of Social and Educational Assistance - SINASE directly affect the materialization of public policies to guarantee actions based on the principles of human rights. The historical process of institutionalization of childhood in Brazil proves a past that we do not want as a present, of surveillance and control practices, under the aegis of the codes of Minors that promoted care based on the perspective of children and adolescents as objects of State intervention. The conception of the adolescent as a subject of rights is constituted in the context of comprehensive protection. However, the promotion of these rights still needs, in many situations, practical implementation, especially when referring to adolescents in conflict with the law. Geydson's trajectory, marked by the fulfillment of different measures and recurrences, denounces the violations and violence suffered within and by the system, the non-articulation of policies in the Rights Guarantee System - SDG demonstrates at all times that the punitive culture still prevails in current socio-educational practices. The life trajectory that he told us through the letters, shows an assisted freedom, which even in a specific place and time, is related to other discussions about the measure in other places and times. Geydson's narrative leads us to think that the socio-educational system still functions as a machine that keeps the practices of repression, violence, discipline and control alive. |

O objetivo desta pesquisa é investigar os impactos da medida em sua trajetória e as possibilidades da ação pedagógica no processo socioeducativo, para a reconstrução do seu projeto de vida durante e para além do cumprimento da medida. Os enfoques teóricos metodológicos nos ajudam a pensar e discutir o sistema socioeducativo em meio aberto, sua eficácia, eficiência e efetividade. A liberdade assistida tem como pressuposto acompanhar, orientar e auxiliar o adolescente que se encontra em conflito com a lei e deve garantir em seu desenvolvimento a autonomia e o protagonismo do socioeducando, oportunizando-o a uma autêntica experiência de reconstrução de seu projeto de vida. No plano legislativo, o Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente - ECA e o Sistema Nacional de Atendimento Socioeducativo - SINASE repercutem diretamente na materialização das políticas públicas para garantir ações pautadas nos princípios dos direitos humanos. O processo histórico de institucionalização das infâncias no Brasil comprova um passado que não queremos como presente, de práticas de vigilância e controle, sob a égide dos Códigos de Menores que promoviam um atendimento baseado na perspectiva da criança e do adolescente como objetos da intervenção do Estado. A concepção do adolescente enquanto sujeito de direitos se constitui no contexto da proteção integral, entretanto, a promoção desses direitos ainda carece, em muitas situações, de uma efetivação prática, principalmente quando se refere ao adolescente em conflito com a lei. A trajetória de Geydson, marcada pelo cumprimento de diferentes medidas e reincidências, denuncia as violações e violências sofridas dentro e pelo sistema, a não articulação das políticas no Sistema de Garantia de Direitos – SDG e demonstra a todo instante que a cultura punitivista ainda prevalece nas práticas socioeducativas atuais. A trajetória de vida que nos foi contada por ele através das cartas, evidencia uma liberdade assistida, que mesmo em um lugar e tempo específico, se relaciona com outras discussões sobre a medida em outros lugares e tempos.
