Resumo: The cultivation of coriander is being attacked by nematodes are needed to work with existing genetic variability obtaining cultivars resistant reducing losses caused by this pathogen. The objective of this study was to estimate genetic parameters of resistance to coriander and characterization of six cultivars depending on the reaction to M. incognita (races 1 and 3) and M. javanica. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse on the premises of HortiAgro® Seeds Ltda. In the municipality of Ijaci, located in southern Minas Gerais State, during the period October to December 2011. We evaluated six cultivars of coriander in randomized complete block design with six replications and 16 plants per plot were used inocula of M. incognita race 1, M. incognita race 3 and M. javanica whose eggs were added to the substrate trays in a proportion of 1.200 eggs. ml-1 solution. With the data obtained, we carried out analyzes of variance and the variances were also estimated phenotypic, genetic and environmental, the broad-sense heritability at the level of the cultivar means, the coefficient of genetic variation, the ratio between the coefficients of genetic variation and environmental variation for the characteristics: incidence of galls, number of galls, number of egg mass and egg number. Regarding the characterization of the cultivars were evaluated characteristics: number of egg mass, number of eggs, reproductive factors and index playback. The results indicate that there is genetic variability within and among cultivars and, based on multiplication of nematode, the coriander cultivars showed resistant reaction to M. incognita race 3 and M. javanica. The characteristics, number of egg masses and the number of eggs can be used for the evaluation of higher levels of resistance. The cultivars showed variability within families for resistance to nematode galls, which may be used in breeding programs aimed at developing cultivars resistant to Meloidogyne spp.

É necessário trabalhos que explorem a variabilidade genética existente para se obter cultivares resistentes a esse fitopatógeno. Portanto o objetivo do trabalho foi estimar os parâmetros genéticos da resistência do coentro, bem como a caracterização de seis cultivares em função da reação a Meloidogyne incognita (raças 1 e 3) e Meloidogyne javanica. O experimento foi conduzido em estufa nas dependências da HortiAgro® Sementes Ltda., no município de Ijací, localizado na região Sul do Estado de Minas Gerais, no período de outubro a dezembro de 2011. Foram avaliadas seis cultivares de coentro no delineamento experimental de blocos casualizados, com seis repetições e 16 plantas por parcela Utilizaram-se inóculos de M. incognita raça1, M. incognita raça 3 e M. javanica cujos ovos foram adicionados ao substrato das bandejas na proporção de 1.200 ovos. ml-1 de solução. Com os dados obtidos, realizaram-se as análises de variância e também foram estimadas as variâncias fenotípica, genética e ambiental; a herdabilidade no sentido amplo ao nível das médias das cultivares; o coeficiente de variação genética; razão entre os coeficientes de variação genética e variação ambiental para as características: incidência de galhas, número de galhas, número de massa de ovos e número de ovos. Com relação à caracterização das cultivares foram avaliadas as características: número de massa de ovos, número de ovos, fator de reprodução e índice de reprodução. Os resultados indicam que existe variabilidade genética entre e dentro das cultivares e, baseado na multiplicação do nematoide, as cultivares de coentro apresentaram reação de resistência para M. incognita raça 3 e M. javanica. As características, número de massas de ovos e número de ovos podem ser utilizadas para avaliações de níveis superiores de resistência.
