Resumo: The cassava wastewater is a waste liquid extracted from cassava roots during pressing for the manufacture of flour. The use of cassava wastewater is quite wide due to the facility of obtaining and the amount of nutrients and waster which characterize a natural fertilizer, mainly NPK elements. So, this study aimed to evaluate the influence of cassava wastewater application in the development as well as the macronutrient present in the maze hybrid AG-1051 and the soil chemical properties changes. The experiment was set up with two soils of different textures (sandy and medium textured) in 10-liters pots of soil in a protected environment. The doses of cassava wastewater were determined according to the requirements of K for maize crop and the treatments consisted of four doses of cassava wastewater ( 0; 11.2; 22.4; 44.8 m3 h-1). The treatments were arranged on an entirely randomized design with eight replications, in a factorial scheme of 4 x 2, in which four was the cassava wastewater doses and two soil types, totaling 64 experimental units. After 42 days the plants were harvested and determined the height and fresh weight. After drying the material in a over until constant weight, the dry matter, which after grinding in the Wiley mill and prepared the extracts analytical determinations of nutrients (N, P, Na and K), was carried out. Soil samples were collect in the pots of 3 L, which was mixed and dried in the air to perform the analysis of available P, K, Na, Ca, Mg, CE and pH on saturated paste extract. The results show significant effect for the doses of cassava wastewater for height and fresh and dry matter of shoots, as well as phosphorus and potassium. In contrast, the other variables were not effected. It was also observed changes in the chemical structure of soil, the elevation of pH, CE and studied the levels of cations, especially potassium.

Sua utilização é bastante ampla pela facilidade de obtenção do resíduo e quantidades de nutrientes que caracteriza como fertilizante natural, principalmente os elementos NPK. Assim, o objetivo desse estudo foi avaliar o desenvolvimento bem como os teores de macronutrientes presentes no milho híbrido AG- 1051 e as modificações ocorridas nos atributos químicos do solo. O experimento foi conduzido com dois solos de texturas distintas em vasos de 10 L de solo em ambiente protegido. As doses foram determinadas de acordo com a necessidade de K para a cultura do milho e foram equivalentes a: 0, 11,2; 22,4; 44,8 m3 ha-1. Constituiu-se fatorial 4 x 2 com quatro doses de manipueira, dois tipos de solo e oito repetições, totalizando 64 unidades experimentais. Após 42 dias realizou a colheita das plantas, determinou-se a altura e massa fresca. Após secagem do material em estufa até atingir peso constante determinou-se a massa seca, que após trituração no moinho de facas tipo Wiley e preparados os extratos específicos. Realizaram-se determinações analíticas dos nutrientes: N, P, Na e K. Para o solo, foram coletadas amostras nos vasos de 3L, misturado e secados ao ar para realizar as análises de P disponível, K, Na, CEes, Ca, Mg e pH no extrato da pasta saturada. Os resultados demonstram que houve efeitos significativos para as doses de manipueira para altura e massa fresca e massa seca da parte aérea, bem como os teores de fósforo e potássio; o mesmo não ocorrendo com as demais variáveis.
