This dissertation emphasizes the study of the functioning of the Local Productive Arrangement (APL) of renaissance lace in central rough Pernambuco, its productive organization, its strengths and weaknesses from the conceptual and methodological basis of the Research Network on Production Systems and Innovative Local-RedeSist / UFRJ and a field survey was conducted from July to September 2014 in the cities of Recife, Potion and Fisheries in the state of Pernambuco, from which the following results were obtained: 1- the dynamics of the craft Renaissance income in the municipalities Potion and Fisheries is an important alternative source of income for most of the state's Agreste families; 2- the Renaissance trade feeds more than 70% of the population of these municipalities; 3- this trade attracts new investors to the market in favor of craft business, but at the expense of informal tenants; 4- lack of entrepreneurial skills and adequate resources to ensure a competitive market causes devaluation of the local artisan workmanship, creating an unfair trade and ensuring that large parts of the craftsmen do not reach new opportunities for improvement of life; 5- isolation of producing municipalities affect direct trade; 6- lack of marketing mechanisms for all producers; 7- unskilled in labor; low levels of education; 8- lack of support programs and promotion by APL actors; 9- little training in innovative activities; 10- marketing policies and mechanisms conducive to craft industries resulting in income concentration inside the APL; 11- limitation informal tenants production sales on the strong influence of craft entrepreneurs; 12- the competitive advantages of APL rely on the good acceptance of the product on the market in different consumer profile, the business opportunities through craft fairs distributed in the country, the local cultural influences, and dissemination of knowledge through learning interactive, or tacit knowledge.
