Resumo: The objective of this study was to evaluate the best day to perform the embryo transfer, using ultrasound Doppler morphological characteristics of the corpus luteum (CL) and blood perfusion by analyzing the points of pixels compared to the concentration of progesterone (P4) on the day of embryo transfer. Currently, in addition to morfoecogênicas characteristics obtained by the B-mode images, it is possible to evaluate changes in the uterine hemodynamics and ovarian throughout the estrous cycle and during pregnancy by Doppler color ultrasound. The intimate relationship between the secretory function of the CL and luteal blood perfusion during diestrus and pregnancy may help to select embryos to recipients. This work was divided into study according to the day of inovulção G1 (day 3), G2 (4th), G3 (5th) and G4 (6th) using in the experiment 30 mares crossbred receptor, the animals were selected randomly and evaluated only on the day of embryo transfer. The post ovulation characteristics examined were tone, morphoechogenicity and vascularization of the uterus, the cervix tone, diameter and corpus luteum area, objective vascularization (concentration of pixels) and vascularization subjective. Also, blood samples were taken to determine the serum concentration of progesterone. a high correlation between the serum concentration of P4 was found, the objective and the subjective vascularization vascularization of CL, indicating that the evaluation of the receiver using the Doppler ultrasound tool increases security in the selection of the recipient.

Atualmente, além das características morfoecogênicas obtidas por imagens no modo-B, é possível avaliar mudanças na hemodinâmica uterina e ovariana durante todo o ciclo estral e ao longo da gestação por meio da ultrassonografia colorida Doppler. A íntima relação entre a função secretora do CL e a perfusão sanguínea luteal durante o diestro e a gestação pode auxiliar na seleção de receptoras de embriões. O grupos do experimento foram divididos de acordo com o dia de inovulção G1(dia 3), G2(dia 4), G3(dia 5) e G4(dia 6) utilizando no experimento 30 éguas receptoras mestiças, os animais foram selecionados aleatóriamente e avaliados apenas no dia da inovulação. As características examinadas pós ovulação foram tônus, morfoecogenicidade e vascularização do útero, o diâmetro e área do corpo lúteo, vascularização objetiva (concentração de pixels) e vascularização subjetiva. Também foram coletadas amostras de sangue para determinar a concentração sérica de progesterona.
