Resumo: The text develops a preliminary critical analysis of Manhãs de setembro (Luis Pinheiro and Dainara Toffoli; 2021, Amazon Prime Video), serial fiction whose protagonist is a transvestite who unexpectedly comes across the presence of a son in her life. As the child settles into his mother's home environment, she becomes uncomfortable. By putting on screen opposites and contradictory images of family relationships, the series' aesthetic arrangements operate as breach-builders and promotes sensitive encounters.
