Resumo: | Bonies injuries are limited factors of individuals. They involve damages to health, together with economic-social order ´s problems. If the period of reparation of injury be long, the consequences will be proporcionally major. However, the preocupation in to abbreviate the period of bony consolidation becomes important. The search and development of techniques that objective to abbreviate the regenerative period of bony injury become necessary. Our propose is to study experimently, in animal model, the process of bony regeneration on stimulation of radiation by Arsenieto of Galio (GaAs) laser of low intensity. For so much, were produced injuries of 3mm de diameter, surgically, in the rats` tibia. Later 24 hours of surgery, the experimental group was treated with a dose of 3 Joules/cm2, in pontual applications, by ten consecutive days. The experimentation was achieved on the biotério from Lins Auxilium Salesiano Catholic University Center, SP (Unisalesiano), with a total 42 rats of lineage Albinus wistar, males, weighting between 200 and 250 grams, with about three months of age. The period of experimentation had have the duration of 14,28 and 56 days, since the surgery. To each period were used 14 rats, where 7 were treated with laser (experimental group - EG) and 7 weren´t treated (control group - CG). The verification of outcomes was made through an comparative histological and histometric reading of EG with the CG, in each period.. This study suggests that the therapy the laser accelerates the bony reparation in beginning of your application, by increase of osteoprogenitors cells of periósteo , formation of cartilage in process of endocondral bonification and, consequently, of osteoblastos, important cells in the process of bony repair. The outcomes indicate an increase of bony trabeculs, of compact bony and of spongy bony, with the corresponding diminiution of hialina cartilage formed initially in the injury`s repair. |

Acarretam danos à saúde, assim como problemas de ordem sócio-econômica. Se o período da reparação da lesão for longo, as conseqüências serão proporcionalmente maiores. Portanto, a preocupação em se abreviar o período da consolidação óssea torna-se importante. A busca e desenvolvimento de técnicas que objetivem abreviar o período regenerativo da lesão óssea tornam-se necessárias. Nossa proposta é estudar experimentalmente, em modelo animal, o processo de regeneração óssea sob estimulação da irradiação por laser Arsenieto de Gálio (GaAs) de baixa intensidade. Para tanto, foram produzidas, lesões de 3 mm de diâmetro, cirurgicamente, na tíbia de ratos. Após 24 horas da cirurgia, o grupo experimental foi tratado com uma dose de 3 Joules/cm2, em aplicações pontuais, por dez dias consecutivos. A experimentação foi realizada no biotério do Centro Universitário Católico Salesiano Auxilium de Lins, SP (Unisalesiano), com um total 42 ratos da linhagem Albinus wistar, machos, pesando entre 200 e 250 gramas, com aproximadamente três meses de idade. O período de experimentação teve a duração de 14, 28 e 56 dias, a partir da cirurgia. Para cada período foram utilizados 14 ratos, onde 7 foram tratados com laser (grupo estimulado - GE) e 7 não foram tratados (grupo controle - GC). A verificação dos resultados foi feita mediante uma leitura histológica e histométrica comparativas dos GE com os GC, em cada período. Este estudo sugere que a terapia a laser acelera a reparação óssea no início de sua aplicação, pelo aumento das células osteoprogenitoras do periósteo, formação de cartilagem hialina em processo de ossificação endocondral e, conseqüentemente, de osteoblastos, células importantes no processo de reparo ósseo. Os resultados indicam um aumento de trabéculas ósseas, do osso compacto e do osso esponjoso, com a correspondente diminuição da cartilagem hialina formada inicialmente no reparo da lesão.Made available in DSpace on 2015-09-14T13:13:15Z (GMT).
