Resumo: The book Vitória: Physical Site and Landscape, written by Leticia Beccalli Klug, is an exemplary case of academic production transformed into a reference book in urban studies about Vitória-ES. Divided in four chapters, the book makes the territorial and landscape changes of the city, your periodization space-time story, exposed in a historical overview from the sixteenth century to the early twenty-first. The approach of the book focuses on the role of plans, urban projects and interventions in the state capital, the result of actions taken, tracing, finally, alternatives to the valorization of its landscape.
