Resumo: Introduction: The present work proposes to discuss the conduct and the ethical and social responsibility of the naturologist, as a health professional, based the study of the work The Analects of Confucius. Objective: Develop ethical reflections based on Confucius' philosophy presenting his ethical model of human / individual as a proposal for the ethical reflection to the naturologist. Method: Theoretical-reflective research with experiential-hermeneutic methodology, along with resumes and systematization of literatures was conducted from Confucius' Analects book, in order to contextualize the social-historical period. The experiential-hermeneutic methodology was given by the simultaneously close reading, chapter by chapter, of three book translations and the reflective experience of the classic work teachings in everyday life, along with the discussion in research groups. Results and Discussion: The results were presented in two instances, the ones which correspond to the self-qualification through learning and virtues development; and those related to improve the relationship with others, such as education, government and friendship. These aspects can be seen in the naturologist ethical and professional conduct, besides raising reflection on this professional social responsibility. Final Considerations: We consider Confucius' ethical reflections, his proposal for learning, development, life appreciation and investment in humanity, extremely valuable to the naturologist ethical improvement, as well as to a better exercise of TCM, from which one can understand more deeply the perspective together to which it emerges.
