Resumo: | Human Brucellosis, from the point of view of its serologic, occupational and clinic aspects, was studied in a slaughter-house personnel at the Salvador city, State of Bahia, Brazil. Sorologic test showed 10.58% frequency, as a characteristic aspect of work time. So, 55.55% of positive cases were more than 5 years old at the same activity, with the type of work as a remarkable aspect. At hog and gut sectors, a positivity of 33.33% and 30.00% was found. Clinical symptoms, beside his subjectivity and the fashion that it was performed in a apparently health community, were much more frequent between the positive ones. The necessity of to know the amount of population exposed risk is emphasized, as a possibility of detection of real brucellosis prevalence at the region. |
