Resumo: The authors, who are undergraduate nursing students, describe one of their activities in their field experience in Nursing Administration. They give the description of a plan they made for early detection of schistosomosis in family members of patients with the disease; implementation of the plan; and orientation and treatment of the ones with positive laboratory results.
