Resumo: This paper proposes a presentation of Almanak Caralhal, a satirical Portuguese nineteenth century almanac. Taking this printed as the writing of a cultural history that enables the recomposition of discourses on cultural and political issues that crossed that moment of production, and is recovered its role as an agent that intervene in society and culture, there is its homoerotic content. It points to his relationship with the Portuguese literature and the homoerotic culture of the period.
