TRANSFIGURATION OF THE SOCIAL IN THE ROMAN O BERRO DO CORDEIRO EM NOVA YORK

Resumo: Based on Candido's considerations on society and literature, an analytical model of mimetic-connotative names on the continuum was proposed in the dissertation Own Names in the contemporary novel, O berro do Cordeiro em New York. Part of this analysis is perfected in this article, in the confirmation of the phenomenon of internalization of the social in the literary structure, from the onomastic allegory of oppressive social relations. In this contexto it is tried to exemplify the alegorical-social process of the own name in novel O berro do Cordeiro em Nova York, as well as to confirm that the reality outside the novel acts structurally and determines its transformative social theme.

Parte dessa análise aperfeiçoa-se neste artigo, na confirmação do fenômeno de internalização do social na estrutura literária, a partir da alegorização onomínica das relações sociais opressoras. Assim, neste estudo pretende-se exemplificar o processo alegórico-social do nome próprio no romance O berro do Cordeiro em Nova York, bem como confirmar que a realidade externa à obra age estruturalmente e determina sua temática social transformadora.Universidade de São Paulo.
