Resumo: Este artigo pretende, a partir do estudo de uma situação especifica de trabalho, a dos Postos Avançados de Campo da Companhia de Engenharia de Tráfego do Município de São Paulo, compreender aspectos subjetivos do trabalho relacionados a este posto e também contribuir na formulação de teorias sobre a relação entre organização do trabalho e saúde mental.
