Resumo: | Based on chilean writer Diamela Eltit’s literary and artistic career, this article aims to investigate a possible edge of the following links between literature and art: the relationship of the novel Impuesto a la carne (2010) with Duchamp’s ready-made as a figure of art that unfolds in her prose. To carry out this hypothesis, we start from Argentine writer César Aira’s conceptualizations on the Duchampian ready-made. This intersection allows us to inquire about the configurations of the characters body and voice in the novel, from an artistic perspective, beyond the biopolitical analyzes developed by literary criticism. |
