Resumo: Este trabalho tem por objetivo investigar a relação daquilo que se entende por sucesso e os fatores críticos de projetos industriais, dentro do setor automobilístico. Para fundamentar tal discussão, recorreu-se a uma série de entrevistas com atores de projeto de diferentes níveis hierárquicos. Como resultado, constata-se que os conceitos discutidos com cada entrevistado não necessariamente convergem entre eles, principalmente o de sucesso.
