Resumo: Ilhas do Rio Project is a socioenvironmental initiative that started in 2011 focusing on the Cagarras Islands Natural Monument (MONA Cagarras), the first federal no-take Marine Protected Area (MPA) of Rio de Janeiro city. Scientific researches have been carried out in the local ecosystem for a decade. Additionally, environmental education and scientific promotion actions aim to sensitize children, young people, and adults of different segments of society regarding MONA Cagarras and the Ilhas do Rio Project. Mobile Exhibitions were held to strengthen society's awareness of the MPA's current regulations and promote sustainable tourism initiatives, facilitating information access of diverse audiences. The present work highlights the results of these Mobile Exhibitions during two Ilhas do Rio Project phases, under the sponsorship of the Petrobras Socioenvironmental Program: phase 2 (2014 and 2015) and phase 3 (2018 and 2019). A vehicle was adapted with a photo exhibition and a TV to display audiovisual materials. The exhibition also included specimens from the National Museum-UFRJ educational sector's didactic-scientific collection, scuba-diving model, stereomicroscope, didactic panels, and promotion material such as books and folders, and booklet. A kid's space was set for recreational activities. The adapted truck reached the public from different locations in Rio de Janeiro city. Mobile Exhibitions were carried out in various public spaces (municipal parks, public square, Copacabana Beach), museums, universities, technical schools, public and private schools. Different audiences joined the Mobile Exhibitions, depending on their location. The attendance list records inform about 7,089 participants who already knew the actions of the Ilhas do Rio Project at the Natural Monument of the Cagarras Islands over the four years of the activity
