Resumo: OBJECTIVE: To verify the perception of women with cervical cancer about disability based on the structure and biopsychosocial language proposed by the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF).METHODS: A case series study. Semi-structured interviews were carried out addressing sociodemographic and clinical information as well as biopsychosocial components with 20 women with cervical cancer. The analysis of the data was done with the link of semi-structured answers with the ICF components. The Iramuteq software was used in the data analysis.RESULTS: After link the information from the semi-structured interview of the women with CC to the ICF components, the highest frequency of reporting was to the activity and participation component (41,6%), followed by environmental factors (25,2%), body functions (19,5%) and body structures (13,7%).CONCLUSIONS: The findings suggest that women's perception of disability affects different components of the biopsychosocial model. The incorporation of the perception of the women with cervical cancer in health care planning is fundamental.
