The following research looks for to understand the communicative interactions of social-affective network that takes place in Facebook communities that discuss autism. Four Facebook pages were investigated: Autismo & Realidade, Lagarta Vira Pupa, Marcos Mion and Uppa Autismo - Curitiba, within a period of seven months - from January to July, 2017. Through the cultural analysis and the ethnographic approach (HINE, 2004, 2015), we look for to emphasize the communicative practices and the discursive perspectives exercised by the different social actors involved in these groups through their experiences and seek for recognition. The Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), neurological development condition qualified by an alteration of the interpersonal communication and the presence of repetitive and stereotyped behavior noticed since childhood, nowadays 1 case in 68 children occurs (CDC, 2014). Within this scenario, the ways of interaction among groups that share their experiences, that search for information, treatment, support and in some of the cases they claim for the giving of new meaning to autism and the diminishment of its stigmas. After characterizing the ASD, its historical and stigmatized conjunction, we reflected on the communicative practices and interactions that happen through the use of technological networks, with cultural impact, in this discursive and conversational context. Attentive to the testimonies and the narrated experience in the pages researched, we analyze the speeches and reports produced by its social actors. In this way, we were able to approximate the elements that formed a social capital (RECUERO, 2014) for autism, as well as the spheres of intersubjective recognition (HONNETH, 2003), connecting them to the aspects enunciated by these actors in their struggles and places in which they may discuss the subject, in order to contribute with the expansion of the expectation of the constitution of new standards and, for its turn, with the resignification of autism.
