Resumo:  　This paper shows conceptual aspects from Sociology of Knowledge and Science in order to analyze the professional social relations in the health field, which disputes have their roots from socio-historical-cultural contexts, centering its attention on the health field, mainly on the nursing, as a branch of the scientific knowledge, and on the nursing profession, contextualizing in brief the appearance and the development of the nursing, as well as the advancements – both in technical knowledge and in the space of biomedical model – actually get by this profession. After that put the problems between the profession of nurse and doctor in the range of Brazilian society and how such relations are reflected on the social sphere. At last, it suggests an interdisciplinary consideration, regarding interfaces such as social field and health field.

At last, it suggests an interdisciplinary consideration, regarding interfaces such as social field and health field.  　O artigo aborda aspectos conceituais da sociologia do conhecimento e da ciência para uma análise das relações sociais profissionais do campo da saúde, cujas disputas têm suas raízes fincadas em contextos sócio-histórico-culturais, focando sua atenção no campo da saúde, mais especificamente na enfermagem, como disciplina do conhecimento científico, e na profissão de enfermeiro, contextualizando brevemente o surgimento e o desenvolvimento da enfermagem, bem como os avanços – quer seja no conhecimento técnico, quer seja no espaço do modelo biomédico – atualmente obtidos por essa profissão. Posteriormente, problematiza as relações entre a profissão de enfermeiro e a de médico, no âmbito da sociedade brasileira, e como tais relações se refletem na esfera social. Por último, propõe-se uma reflexão de caráter interdisciplinar, contemplando interfaces tais como o campo social e o campo da saúde.
