Resumo:  This work intend analyze the tragic moment in two places in two different through two tragedis: shakespeare’s otelo and anjo negro de nelson rodrigues. The biggest approximation between these two tragédias is the theme of jealous and racial discrimination, but is not the focus of our approach, we see what is tragic for society to represent and conformations while tragédias, the construction of hero tragic, his social representation, the decadence his on your background, at last make an outline of that such representations tragics show the society who create this caracters and show this plays like tragedys in the meaning of greek term.

Evidentemente a maior aproximação entre estas duas tragédias é a temática do ciúme e da discriminação, mas não é esse nosso enfoque de abordagem, queremos ver nelas o que é o trágico para a sociedade que representam e suas conformações enquanto tragédias, a construção do herói trágico, sua representação social, a decadência dele em seu contexto, enfim pretendemos fazer um esboço do que essas representações trágicas mostram das sociedades das quais surgiram e até que ponto podemos configurá-las enquanto tragédias, no sentido grego do termo.
