João Gilberto Noll’s literature is dionisiac. We feel it intensely as a creative act,rebllious lecture. The desire of telling makes the beaty static, as we can notice in the characters’instability and fragility and in the shape aesthetic. There’s certain strength to the narrativity whichis always eliptics, schizophrenic, lasting. Acenos e afagos (2008) is one of the more expressive novelswritten by the author from Rio Grande do Sul. By analising this novel we can think the semiotictaks of cultural sings articulation – and the sexuality is included in such whole, - as a dionisiachomoerotism. Noll’s prose doesn’t allow we label it easily, because it discuss the tragic perceptionof the narrator’s erotic experience. This fragmented article deals with symbolic features, wich arehistorically symptomatic of some contemporain experiences about the relations betweenliterature, identity and homotext.
