Resumo: Currently, repair and restoration through direct laser deposition (DLD) technology is one of the newest applications of metal additive manufacturing technology. This technology could revolutionize many industrial sectors, reducing material waste, component lead times and carbon footprint. However, studies on the use of additive manufacturing for repair and restoration through DLD technology are still scarce. This article aimed to identify and categorize the use of additive manufacturing in maintenance through DLD technology through a systematic literature review.
