This article proposes a reflection on two important aspects of cutting-edge efforts to the Digital Transformation: the use of Artificial Intelligence supporting conversational agents and the issue of usability for ameliorating the user experience (UX). The rationale is conducted both with a focus on the potential they present for leveraging Digital Transformation and increasing UX as in the barriers or constraints that they can constitute if they are not adhering to a user-centric approach.
