Resumo: This text will focus on the set of works ‘Out of Nowhere’ by the photographer Miguel Rio Branco. We will analyze mainly the images related to the Santa Rosa boxing academy. His production is characterized both by the unique use of color and by the interest in marginalized characters. In affirmative terms, it shows unprecedented temporal relationships, whose intensities re-connect a past of forgetfulness and bodily presence. Such a movement foreshadows the passage of what was tried to be called “post-photography”.

Principalmente analizaremos las imágenes relacionadas con el gimnasio de boxeo Santa Rosa. Su producción se caracteriza tanto por el singular uso del color como por su interés por los personajes marginados. En términos afirmativos, revela relaciones temporales inéditas, cuyas intensidades reconectan un pasado de olvido y presencia corporal. Tal movimiento presagia la transición a lo que se intentó llamar “post-fotografía”.O presente texto se debruçará sobre o conjunto de obras ‘Out of Nowhere’ (do nada) do fotógrafo Miguel Rio Branco. Analisaremos sobretudo as imagens relativas à academia de boxe Santa Rosa. Sua produção se caracteriza tanto pelo singular uso da cor quanto pelo interesse em personagens marginalizados. Em termos afirmativos, dá a ver relações temporais inauditas, cujas intensidades religam um passado de esquecimento e presença corporal.
