Networked biology: a teaching out-of-class proposal through digital tools during the covid-19 pandemic

Resumo: In 2020, the advent of a new reality reinforces the connection between education and technologies, due the occurrence of the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the present study aimed identify the potentialities and weaknesses of a Biology teaching proposal in distance and out-of-class modalities, offered during the pandemic period. For this purpose, a qualitative and quantitative research was realized using as target audience the high school students participating in the referred project. The results indicated great potentials such as the learning by those involved, attractive and diversified resources and the offer of after-class help. The main weakness identified was the low participation of students, which also affected the motivation of the monitors.

En ese sentido, el presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo identificar potencialidades y fragilidades de una propuesta de enseñanza de Biología, en modalidades a distancia y extraclase, ofrecidas durante ese periodo de la pandemia. Para ello, fue realizada una investigación cualicuantitativa teniendo como público objetivo los estudiantes de enseñanza media participantes del proyecto. Los resultados indicaron potencialidades, tales como, el ascenso en el aprendizaje de los implicados, los recursos atractivos y variados y la oferta de turnos de dudas. La principal fragilidad identificada fue la baja participación efectiva de los estudiantes, que ha afectado también la motivación de los monitores.Em 2020, o advento de uma nova realidade veio reforçar a ligação entre a educação e as tecnologias, em virtude da ocorrência da pandemia da COVID-19. Sendo assim, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo identificar as potencialidades e as fragilidades de uma proposta de ensino de Biologia nas modalidades a distância e extraclasse, ofertadas no período da pandemia. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa qualiquantitativa tendo como público alvo os estudantes do Ensino Médio participantes do referido projeto. Os resultados indicaram potencialidades como a aprendizagem por parte dos envolvidos, os recursos atrativos e diversificados e a oferta de plantões de dúvidas.
