TEACHING HISTORY AND ITS TECHNOLOGIES AS A PATHWAY TO SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION: A TEACHER'S PERSPECTIVE ON BASIC EDUCATION IN THE STATE NETWORK OF BAHIA

Resumo: | This article discusses the Teaching of History and its Technologies as a path to social transformation in Basic Education in the state network of Bahia. By exploring expectations and realities present in education, especially in the teaching of History, we recognize the importance of teachers' narratives and the need for reflective practice, in line with a Historical-Critical Pedagogy. Through the analysis of the intersection between educational practice, the use of technologies, and teacher engagement, we seek to stimulate reflections and significant changes – considering the use of active methodologies, such as the Maguerez Spiral – in the way History is taught and learned. Al explorar expectativas y realidades presentes en la educación, especialmente en la enseñanza de Historia, reconocemos la importancia de las narrativas de los profesores y la necesidad de una práctica reflexiva, en línea con una Pedagogía Histórico-Crítica. A través del análisis de la intersección entre la práctica educativa, el uso de tecnologías y el compromiso de los profesores, buscamos estimular reflexiones y cambios significativos, considerando el empleo de metodologías activas, como la del Arco de Maguerez, en la forma en que se enseña y se aprende la Historia. PALABRAS CLAVE: Educación Básica; Enseñanza de Historia; Práctica Docente; Transformación Social.Este artigo discute o Ensino de História e suas Tecnologias como caminho para a transformação social na Educação Básica da rede estadual da Bahia. Ao explorar expectativas e realidades presentes na educação, especialmente no ensino de História, reconhecemos a importância das narrativas dos professores e a necessidade de uma prática reflexiva, na linha de uma Pedagogia Histórico-Crítica. Por meio da análise da intersecção entre a prática educativa, o uso de tecnologias e o engajamento dos professores, buscamos desvendar caminhos e estimular ações que inspirem mudanças significativas na forma como a História é ensinada e aprendida.
