Literacy and literacy: the use of the phonic method as a pedagogical resource

Resumo: In the teaching and learning process, the phonic method has become a much discussed subject within education, being a method for the literacy and literacy process, since it has skills capable of preparing the student to develop the necessary skills in the short term, compared to the other methods. The objective of this study was to understand the importance of including the phonic method as an efficient process for literacy and literacy, as well as the acceptance by educational institutions and teachers in its implementation in the literacy cycle. This is a bibliographic research, based on scientific publications from the use of the combination of keywords in Google Scholar, SciElo, scientific websites, educational laws and books. The results were discussed in an argumentative critical text and analyzed qualitatively. The use of the phonic method as an educational tool is considered a solution to overcome the deficit in literacy and literacy of many children, expanding their learning possibilities and the development of various metalinguistic skills, such as phonological awareness and its units. The study of this teaching method will serve as guidance to teachers in the applicability of their methodologies and analysis of their effectiveness. Therefore, the question raised is of total relevance, since it refers to a promising study that aims to bring important advances to Brazilian education.

El objetivo de este estudio fue comprender la importancia de incluir el método fónico como un proceso eficiente para la alfabetización y alfabetización, así como la aceptación por parte de las instituciones educativas y docentes en su implementación en el ciclo de alfabetización. Se trata de una investigación bibliográfica, basada en publicaciones científicas a partir del uso de la combinación de palabras clave en Google Scholar, SciElo, sitios web científicos, leyes educativas y libros. Los resultados fueron discutidos en un texto crítico argumentativo y analizados cualitativamente. El uso del método fónico como herramienta educativa se considera una solución para superar el déficit de lectoescritura y lectoescritura de muchos niños, ampliando sus posibilidades de aprendizaje y el desarrollo de diversas habilidades metalingüísticas, como la conciencia fonológica y sus unidades. El estudio de este método de enseñanza servirá de orientación a los docentes en la aplicabilidad de sus metodologías y análisis de su eficacia. Por lo tanto, la pregunta planteada es de total relevancia, ya que se refiere a un estudio prometedor que pretende traer importantes avances a la educación brasileña.No processo de ensino e aprendizagem o método fônico se tornou um assunto muito discutido dentro da educação, sendo ele um método para o processo de alfabetização e letramento, uma vez que possui competências capazes de preparar o aluno para desenvolver as habilidades necessárias em curto prazo, comparado aos demais métodos. O objetivo desse estudo foi compreender a importância da inclusão do método fônico como processo eficiente para a alfabetização e letramento, bem como a aceitação por parte de instituições de ensino e professores na sua implementação no ciclo de alfabetização. Trata-se de pesquisa bibliográfica, fundamentada em publicações cientificas a partir do uso da combinação de palavras chaves no Google Acadêmico, SciElo, sites científicos, leis educacionais e livros. Os resultados foram discutidos em texto crítico argumentativo e analisados de forma qualitativa. A utilização do método fônico enquanto ferramenta educacional, é considerada uma solução para superar o déficit na alfabetização e letramento de muitas crianças, ampliando as suas possibilidades de aprendizagem e o desenvolvimento de diversas habilidades metalinguísticas, como a consciência fonológica e suas unidades. O estudo desse método de ensino servirá como orientação aos professores na aplicabilidade de suas metodologias e análise de sua eficácia.
