This monographic work has as objective to analyze the effectiveness of the socioeducative measure of assisted freedom applied to juvenile lawbreakers in Laguna city / SC in the cases judged in 2015 and 2016. The nature's research, regarding the level, was an exploratory form and, regarding the approach, quantitative. The proceeding used for data collection was in the documentarial form, as well as the collection of data in the bibliographic form. Besides, the research technique used was the analysis of 22 processes about the data of young lawbreakers judged in the judicial district of Laguna / SC. It was possible to verify that the biggest cause of incidence in the involvement with the criminality is the family's destructure and abandonment, that generates irreparable damage to the adolescent in development. It is concluded that assisted freedom has been shown to be the socio-educational measure that better accomplishes the pedagogical function, however, it hasn't yet been effective due to the omission of the Public Power that does not ordain sufficient funds for the implementation of social programs, structures and professionals to advance the execution of socio-educational measures. Another holdbreak is that the State can not force the teenager to fully comply with the measure imposed, which in addition to cramming the judiciary, it does not reach the role of resocializing established in the Statute of the Child and Adolescent. As a result, the present research revealed that assisted freedom is proving to be innocuous, whereas the 22 processes analyzed, 91% are recidivists, proving that the socioeducative measure of assisted freedom is ineffective and does not achieve the pacific reinsertion of the adolescent into social. Lastely, as a form of solution, it is inspispensable a Power Public inteference to prevent teenagers from returning to commit acts of violence
