Resumo: The present work will be carried out by means of a qualitative method and exploratory research and its main objective is to investigate whether a small company of installation of gutters and runners located in the municipality of Palhoça, SC is applying the recommendations of NR 35 in order to guarantee adequate conditions of work and the physical integrity of their workers. The results of the research were obtained through on-site analysis and through a checklist pointing out the main topics of NR 35. The work exposed sought to point out prevention measures for work at height that enables the minimization of accidents and protect the health of the workers. In this way, the study showed that it is necessary to always be looking for novelties, solutions and knowledge in the area of EPI and EPC, to be easy, simple and fast to install, and that the same can not be used in a "fast "or" less dangerous ".

Os resultados da pesquisa foram obtidos através de analises in loco e de um checklis apontando os principais tópicos da NR 35. O trabalho exposto buscou apontar medidas de prevenção para os trabalhos em altura que possibilite a minimização dos acidentes e protejam a integridade da saúde dos trabalhadores.
