Resumo: The purpose of this monographic work is to identify the legal impacts of poliamory relationships in family law. Regarding the method of approach, the research is classified as qualitative, since it will analyze principles, understandings of the courts, as well as doctrines linked to the proposed theme, starting from the general scope to the specific one. When, at the level, the nature of the research can be classified as exploratory and with regard to the procedure of data collection, the research was performed by the bibliographic method. Initially, we intend to present the evolution of the family entity in the Brazilian legal system, as well as, what are the bases for the conceptualization of the family in the present day. In the same chapter, it is still the guiding principles of Family Law. Next, we try to conceptualize the polyamor, its models and principles, interconnecting them with the applicable institutes of family law. Finally, the constitutional gap and the eloquent silence surrounding police relations are analyzed, and the legal impacts and possible solutions for litigation involving this type of relationship, from the point of view of family law, are analyzed. In view of the study carried out, it was noticed that poliamory relations, although not expressly foreseen in the Brazilian legislation, were consolidated in family law due to the changes that the family nucleus suffered over time, mainly after the promulgation of the Federal Constitution It was found that the principles of human dignity, freedom, equality, the plurality of family entities and affectivity must overlap with moral arguments and the principle of monogamy.

No que se refere ao método de abordagem, a pesquisa classifica-se como qualitativa, uma vez que analisa princípios, entendimentos dos tribunais, além de doutrinas vinculadas ao tema proposto, partindo-se do âmbito geral para o específico. Quanto ao nível, a natureza da pesquisa pode ser classificada como exploratória e no que tange ao procedimento de coleta de dados, a pesquisa foi realizada pelo método bibliográfico. Inicialmente, busca-se apresentar a evolução da entidade familiar no ordenamento jurídico brasileiro, bem como, quais as bases para a conceituação da família nos dias atuais. No mesmo capítulo, ainda, trata-se dos princípios orientadores do Direito de Família. Em seguida, procura-se conceituar o poliamor, seus modelos e princípios, interligando-os aos institutos do direito de família aplicáveis. Em derradeiro, analisa-se a lacuna constitucional e o silêncio eloquente envolvendo as relações poliafetivas e discorre-se acerca dos impactos jurídicos e possíveis soluções para litígios que envolvam este tipo de relacionamento, sob o ponto de vista do direito de família. Diante do estudo realizado, percebeu-se que as relações poliafetivas, apesar de não estarem previstas expressamente na legislação brasileira, se consolidaram no direito de família em virtude das mudanças que o núcleo familiar sofreu ao longo do tempo, principalmente após a promulgação da Constituição Federal de 1988.
