Resumo: This research aimed to understand the human factors contributing to the occurrence of incidents and aircraft accidents in the brazilian civil aviation, deepening the communication factor and its relation to the accident gol. It is characterized as an explanatory research with bibliographic and documentary procedure through books, manuals, regulations and aircraft accident reports. The approach used was qualitative and quantitative. The analysis was made by means of official statistics and analyzed according to the theoretical foundation. When analyzing the results obtained from the research, it is concluded that the miscommunication is due to non-compliance with standard phraseology of use of rules and the lack of training with updated and standardized material world, in the pilots and air traffic controllers’ training schools and also in the airlines and air traffic control people.

Caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa explicativa, com procedimento bibliográfico e documental por meio de livros, manuais, regulamentos e relatórios de acidentes aeronáuticos. A abordagem utilizada foi qualitativa e quantitativa. A análise foi feita por meio de dados estatísticos oficiais e analisados de acordo com a fundamentação teórica.
