Resumo: The work is an analysis of human factors as contributing causes of accidents and incidents in general aviation aircraft. Aiming to conduct a survey of psychological factors in addition to study them and identify them, aiming at adapting this to the goal of flight safety. To this end, the collection of documentation withdrawal CENIPA was used in addition to literature on human factors in aviation accidents and incidents. When analyzing the results obtained from the research, it is concluded that psychological factors has been highlighted in the statistics of accidents and incidents in general aviation aircraft. To lower these rates, the Aviation Psychology has contributed, among other things, training programs, revision of laws and regulations, vision, commitment to aviation safety and aims to improve the working conditions of pilots and, consequently, improving the quality of life and productivity of these professionals.

Objetivando realizar um levantamento dos fatores humanos, em especial o fator psicológico, visando adequá-lo ao objetivo da segurança de voo. Para tanto, a documentação utilizada como base foi retirada do acervo do CENIPA, além de bibliografia acerca dos fatores humanos em acidentes e incidentes aéreos. Ao analisar os resultados obtidos com a pesquisa, destacam-se os fatores psicológicos nas estatísticas de acidentes e incidentes aeronáuticos na aviação geral. Para diminuir estes índices, a psicologia da aviação vem contribuindo, com os programas de treinamento, com a revisão das leis e regulamentos, a visão e o compromisso com a segurança aérea. Tal razão abrange a melhoria das condições de trabalho dos pilotos e, consequentemente, a melhoria na qualidade de vida e a produtividade desses profissionais.
