Resumo: | The financial freedom needed to live quietly and to take care of basic needs is a goal of all people, but many do not know how to achieve this goal. For that purpose, there is the tool of financial planning to obtain financial freedom. The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development conducts research and provides guidance to countries on how this approach can be addressed and suggests that financial education should be taught early. Financial education covers points such as: consumption, investments, social security planning, and other topics. Because of the extent of this subject, this paper explains planning in a simple way so that anyone can have a basic understanding about the importance of financial planning. The government often encourages consumption through credit programs and subsidies, but almost never discusses the topic of saving money. Currently, in Brazilian Congress, there is discussion about the state of public welfare. Regardless of the outcome of the Congressional discussion, citizens need to know how to take care of themselves. In this way, this study sought to understand more about the interviewees’ financial situation. For this, a small survey was conducted on the financial situation of the interviewees. The result is that consumption through credit produces negative effects on the family budget and has made the financial lives of families more difficult. |

Para isso existe o planejamento financeiro como uma ferramenta para alcançar a liberdade financeira. A Organização para a Cooperação e Desenvolvimento Econômico realiza pesquisas e fornece orientações aos países sobre como pode ser a abordagem desse tema e sugere que, de um modo geral, os ensinamentos sobre educação financeira devem ser iniciados cedo. A educação financeira abrange pontos como: consumo, investimentos, planejamento previdenciários, entre outros. Devido tamanha amplitude do assunto este projeto explica sobre o planejamento de forma simples para que qualquer um possa obter um conhecimento básico sobre a importância de se planejar financeiramente. O governo por muitas vezes incentiva o consumo através de programas de crédito e subsídios, mas quase nunca discute sobre economizar dinheiro. Atualmente, há em pauta no congresso brasileiro a discussão sobre a previdência pública. Independente dos resultados obtidos pelo congresso, os cidadãos precisam saber como se cuidarem sozinhos. Deste modo, este estudo buscou entender mais sobre a situação financeira dos entrevistados. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pequena pesquisa sobre a situação financeira dos entrevistados.
